Toyota Yaris 5 speed m/m
Good points
Quiet drive on country roads holds road well, at 75 on motorway, excellent low noise levels. Auto is easy select e for constant auto or you can choose to change by flicking the lever to the right then straight forward backwards to move up a gear forwards to move down a gear. Space in side is remarkable better than the Honda Jazz or Citroen C3. Seats seem really comfortable although we have not yet been on a long journey will update when we have done that.

Toyota Celica GT
Good points
Fabulous drive, good through corners, very good acceleration, top speed and is smooth as a baby’s bottom on the motorway. Looks fabulous inside and out and is quite roomy but still clings to the true low ride coupe feel. Exception reliability, these cars are good for 150,000miles+ with regular servicing. For 170BHP 140mph car it’s suprisingly fuel efficient, even around town.

Fantastic, strong, gives you a great feeling of security, low maintenance, totally reliable in all situations. So useful, particularly as I’ve been renovating my house in France. Building materials, furniture, going to the tip - taking dog out - you name it, saved loads of money not having to pay for deliveries. Just wish it had air conditioning last year in the heatwave. Never stuck in this vehicle - bad winters here, lanes with ditches, but always confident in the Toyota.
