SEAT Reviews

The acronym “SEAT” means Sociedad Española de Automóviles de Turismo (Spanish Corporation of Private Cars). Initially, SEAT manufactured rebadged Fiat models which differed very little visually from the products of the Italian parent. The SEAT Marbella for example was based on the Fiat Panda, whilst the SEAT Malaga was a rebadged Fiat Ritmo. SEAT has manufacturing plants in Barcelona, in Martorell (a nearby industrial city) and in Pamplona. The plant of Martorell is one of the newest in Europe. In the year 2002 more than 450,000 cars were manufactured in this plant.

Good points
I bought the 5 door hatchback in 2001. Seats fold down and loads of boot space. It has been a fantastic car - can’t fault it I’m afraid! Very economical on petrol.

Good points

I have been using my seat since Oct 03 for teaching people to drive, and what a great little car it has proved to be. Mechanically it has been sound considering all the work it has to do. Also fuel economy is another plus I must say I would have little hesitation in purchasing another.
