One of the best handling sports car past and present, great 50/50 neutral handling. Fully galvanised body - should be rust free unless badly repaired from a accident. Easily modified to produce up to 400hp up from standard 220hp. 944 have depreciated so much now that they are really a performance bargain, cheaper than a family station wagon. Porsche build quality is unmatched, even by todays standards. Styling still looks agressive and hasn’t really dated at all. If maintenance kept up to date these engines are bullet proof. Can get up to 200,000 miles without a re-build. Even with performance of 0-60mph of 6.0 sec, fuel economy rarely falls below 23mpg. 944 is packed with features including air con, sunroof, elect. mirrors / windows, leather etc.
